Suspending Users
To suspend a user, go to their user page and click the Suspend button.
There are three options:
1) Online Access – This will remove all online access and locks the user out of the system completely. Online login will fail. The administrator may continue to impersonate the user. This does not suspend the membership, but blocks the user from being able to sign into their profile.
Selecting “Online Access” will prompt the administrator to add a note for the suspension reason. Once this has been entered and confirmed, the account will be locked and the user will no longer be able to log into the account.
2) User Only – This allows you to choose the membership plan(s) you wish to suspend for the user. This will not affect the entourage members. Any unchecked membership plans will be automatically enabled.
3) Entourage – This allows you to choose membership plan(s) which you wish to suspend for the user and their entourage. Any unchecked membership plans will be automatically enabled.
If “User Only” or “Entourage” is chosen, you will need to select a membership to suspend and enter a note in the “Reason” box.
Memberships can also be suspended in the memberships listing on the user profile page. Select the blue ‘stop’ icon to suspend the membership. Once suspended a green ‘play’ icon will appear which allows an administrator to enable the membership.
- SUSPENDING ENTOURAGES
There is currently no way to suspend the user without also suspending the entourage associated to the property owner.
It's recommended in this case to suspend the user (and entourage) and then manually assigning the role of “resident” to the entourage users so they’ll still have access. You can set an expiry date for these manual roles when adding the role to the user.
