Learn to SUP Level 2 (Aug 20) Summer 20255 spots available
LEVEL 2 - This is where the fun really begins. Builds on the knowledge and skills gained in Level 1 and adds stances, movement on the board, and more advanced paddle strokes. Recommended for those who wish to paddle longer distances, in rougher conditions or just want to show off. Learn about rescues and towing another SUP as well. Successful completion awards Paddle Canada “Advanced Flatwater SUP Skills” certification, which (after some practice) allows students to pursue additional training in whitewater, ocean touring and surfing skills courses.
All paddling and safety equipment is included. Come dressed in moisture-wicking, quick-drying clothes (merino wool and polyester work well, cotton does not). Paddling footwear is recommended.

Join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM to help keep Lake Summerside clean. Stop by at 10:30 AM to pick up garbage bags and gloves. Cleanup ends at 12:30 PM—bring back your collected trash to receive a food ticket and show your efforts.
Then, enjoy hotdog, pop and chips from our concession. A food Ticket is required upon returning at 12:30 PM as a thank-you for your hard work. Residents only. RSVP required.

Mat Pilates Spring 2025 Tuesdays (Indoors)1 spot available
Mat Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise that promotes not only strength, tone, and
flexibility, but also improves your posture and reduces stress. The mat Pilates method aims to strengthen your core or "Powerhouse", lengthen the spine, build muscle tone, and increase body awareness. Following the six principles of control, breath, flow, precision, centering, and stability will help you gain all of these benefits while maintaining your body safely. The mat Pilates exercises are based on the resistance provided by your body's weight and gravity, and the workout is performed on the ground using an exercise mat. Once adding a mat Pilates workout to your routine and experience its benefits, it will provide the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.

A Geek to us is someone who embraces their imagination, has the courage to explore the unknown and who is always ready to have a new adventure! Here are some of the Highlights of what will take place during Geek Week: Epic Theme Days, Crazy Science Experiments, Nerf Gun adventures, Team Challenges, Lego Building, Live Action Role Play and of course getting active by learning 9 different sports. Step into the spotlight and discover the power of your voice, your story, and your imagination. Ready, Set, Action is an 8–10 session acting course designed for youth ages 10–13, combining techniques from film and theatre to build confidence, spark creativity, and develop practical performance skills.
This program is especially designed to support kids who may face social challenges, offering a fun, inclusive environment where every participant is seen, heard, and valued. Aswell as those who may just have a particular interest in the art form! Through scene work, improvisation, character creation, and ensemble activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of acting as both an expressive art and a collaborative craft, leading them to gain skills and knowledge that can serve them in any avenue of life.

If you are interested in kayaking, but not sure where to start or what is the right boat for you, this is a great place to start. Get a chance to demo top branded boats from Delta, Wilderness Systems, and Dagger. The aim of this program is to make demo-ing new boats hassle-free and to get people out enjoying their local waterways. You will also get the chance to talk with AQ store staff and instructors to help get you set up and into the perfect kayak for you this season.
