Welcome, introductions, and creating a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.
Invite participants to share what drew them to meditation and their intention.
2. Understanding Stress (15 min)
Explore the science of stress — how thoughts and environment affect the nervous system.
Introduce meditation as a simple, accessible practice for restoring balance and calm.
3. The Practice of Meditation (30 min)
Explain what meditation is (and isn’t).
Share benefits such as calm, clarity, and focus.
Guide participants through a breath-centered meditation and short mantra practice.
4. Integrating Meditation (20 min)
Lead participants through a longer guided meditation designed to deepen presence and awareness.

Personal protective equipment (helmet, shin protectors, and gloves) costs about $120 and is required starting with the second term. Occasionally, there might be additional costs for other equipment, belt gradings, or participation in related events (T-shirts, tournaments, inviting an advanced instructor, camps, etc). As applicable, students/parents must check with their doctor or medical clinic if medical conditions would prevent moderate to intense physical activities prior to attending classes and if allowed to participate, the instructor needs to be informed about any such medical conditions. Ready, Set, Action is an 8–10 session acting course designed for youth ages 10–13, combining techniques from film and theatre to build confidence, spark creativity, and develop practical performance skills.
This program is especially designed to support kids who may face social challenges, offering a fun, inclusive environment where every participant is seen, heard, and valued. Aswell as those who may just have a particular interest in the art form! Through scene work, improvisation, character creation, and ensemble activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of acting as both an expressive art and a collaborative craft, leading them to gain skills and knowledge that can serve them in any avenue of life.

Little Medical School – Wilderness Medicine
At the Wilderness Medicine School, students will be immersed in vital emergency care
in remote wilderness settings. Your little doctor will learn how to respond to emergency
situations in the wild such snake bites, hypothermia and more. They will also get to
practice how to tie a tourniquet and splint a broken leg. Students will also learn about
survival in the great outdoors in an emergency such as learning about water safety and
how to filter dirty water. These future emergency medics will also learn about
mosquitoes and diseases and how to protect themselves from mosquito bites and other
bugs. Students will have fun and use their creativity as they learn 20 ways to use a
bandana in emergencies.

Mat Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise that promotes not only strength, tone, and
flexibility, but also improves your posture and reduces stress. The mat Pilates method aims to strengthen your core or "Powerhouse", lengthen the spine, build muscle tone, and increase body awareness. Following the six principles of control, breath, flow, precision, centering, and stability will help you gain all of these benefits while maintaining your body safely. The mat Pilates exercises are based on the resistance provided by your body's weight and gravity, and the workout is performed on the ground using an exercise mat. Once adding a mat Pilates workout to your routine and experience its benefits, it will provide the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.
