The mat Pilates method aims to strengthen your core or "Powerhouse", lengthen the spine, build muscle tone, and increase body awareness. Following the six principles of control, breath, flow, precision, centering, and stability will help you gain all of these benefits while maintaining your body safely. The mat Pilates exercises are based on the resistance provided by your body's weight and gravity, and the workout is performed on the ground using an exercise mat. They will learn simple songs and use popular stories with a hint of their own imagination to create mini-musical plays weekly. Costumes are also provided for dress up fun! Who is ready to play some basketball? Level Up Basketball camps provide an amazing opportunity for your child to grow their basketball skills. Our athletes will work on their handles, fine tune their jumper, power up their defence and learn how to be a team player. At Level Up we are intentional with making sure our athletes are taught the proper form so that their skills grow quickly and we give them great drills to take home to continue growing those skills. Most importantly we make the game fun give them the encouragement they need to spark a lifelong love for basketball.

A community garden is a shared space where Lake Summerside residents come together to grow food, learn gardening skills, and strengthen community connections. This initiative supports healthy living, environmental stewardship, and opportunities to share or donate surplus produce within the neighbourhood.
This garden is open to Lake Summerside residents in good standing. Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waitlist once all plots are full.
The garden is located in a fenced area within Lake Summerside park space and includes 8 individual plots.
The season runs approximately from May to October (weather dependent). Participants are expected to maintain their plots, respect shared spaces, and assist with seasonal cleanup if able.
Gardeners provide their time, seeds or seedlings, and ongoing care of their plot. The garden provides prepared plots, shared resources such as water and compost, and a supportive community environment.
One plot per household
$30.00 + GST per plot for Lake Summerside residents
Organic practices are encouraged
Untended plots may be reassigned during the season
Plots are limited to one plot per household (8 total) and may fill quickly
