The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviors to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. Welcome to our Sportball Mashup week! When you can't decide your favourite camp, why not combine them all for one Sportacular week?? This spring, our Sportballers will experience a camp that has elements of our Geek Week, Epic, Einstein's Athletes, and even our Just Imagine camps all in one glorious week. Special activities include anything from Nerf wars, wand making, science experiments, to even special visits from guest characters. This is all in addition to learning 2 new sports each day that week! Although our plans are based around physical literacy and motor development, we prioritize fun, smiles and core memories in addition to being active here at Sportball Spring Mashup camp!
Camp hours for the full day are 9:00 am -4:00 pm.
Extended care is included before camp 8:30 am -9:00 am and after camp 4:00 pm -4:30 pm
Sportball Multi-Sport skills development programs introduce preschool and primary school children to the concepts and skills involved in the core sports of the Sportball methodology. Classes are conducted once a week in one-hour sessions, using developmentally appropriate methods to introduce, practice, and refine gross motor skills. The programs reinforce the benefits of teamwork and skills development rather than the importance of winning, which enables children to gain confidence and develop the social skills necessary to succeed in sport and life. This class is appropriate for all levels!
