AquaFit: Full-Body Open-Water Workout

AquaFit offers an energizing, instructor-led, full-body water workout set to music. These classes are designed for true drop-in participation, ensuring they are safe, effective, and accessible whether it's your first class or your fiftieth.

What to Expect

Participants will engage in cardiovascular conditioning, muscular endurance training, core stability work, and balance development. Exercises are performed in either shallow (chest-deep) or deep water. Buoyancy belts are utilized to reduce joint load, while water resistance intensifies muscular demand. This results in a low-impact, high-efficiency workout suitable for a wide range of fitness levels.

The Open-Water AquaFit Advantage

Elevate your fitness experience beyond a typical indoor pool. Open-water AquaFit integrates fresh air, natural water, and sunlight, which are scientifically linked to reduced stress and improved mood. Water's hydrostatic pressure supports circulation and joint stability, while immersion enhances body awareness and neuromuscular engagement.

Experience the powerful psychological benefits of "blue space" wellness. Immersion in a natural environment fosters a sense of presence and connection, leaving participants not only physically challenged but also mentally refreshed and emotionally restored. Open-water AquaFit is more than exercise; it's movement therapy in Mother Nature's gym.

Mat Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise that promotes not only strength, tone, and

flexibility, but also improves your posture and reduces stress. The mat Pilates method aims to strengthen your core or "Powerhouse", lengthen the spine, build muscle tone, and increase body awareness. Following the six principles of control, breath, flow, precision, centering, and stability will help you gain all of these benefits while maintaining your body safely. The mat Pilates exercises are based on the resistance provided by your body's weight and gravity, and the workout is performed on the ground using an exercise mat. Once adding a mat Pilates workout to your routine and experience its benefits, it will provide the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.
