Learn essential paddling skills, safety skills and knowledge to get the most out of your time on a stand up paddleboard. We cover everything from how to hold a paddle to what to do if you fall off. Progress from kneeling to standing at your own pace while you learn the essential paddling strokes necessary to paddle in a straight line, turn, and stop. Finish the day with a smile and the confidence to safely hit the water on your own after the lesson. All paddling and safety equipment is included.

Come dressed in moisture wicking, quick drying clothes (merino wool and polyester work well, cotton does not). Paddling footwear recommended. Awards Paddle Canada “Basic SUP Skills” certification. Maximum 6 students.
