
This is a fun introductory class for children with limited to no skating experience. It is designed to help little ones become comfortable on the ice. Participants will learn basic skating skills through fun and age appropriate drills, games and activities.
**Participants should dress according to weather. Snow pants, winter gloves and jackets are recommended. CSA approved hockey helmets or a winter sport helmet is mandatory for all participants. The program will cancel at -25 degrees Celsius with the wind chill . Participants will be notified of make up classes .
Parents are required to stay rink side during the program .
Location: Pleasure Rink (Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time and meet at the pleasure rink )

During this course, students will learn the basics of how to tell a story through the medium of comics and use their creative imagination in a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere with Tad Martindale! Topics covered will include character design, storytelling, building comic pages, pencil and inking skills, and much more! Sketchbook and pen included! For ages 8+ years old. All levels welcome - all you'll need is your creativity!

Robotics -Age Group (Grades 1-8)
Grade (1,2,3) Students learn about simple and compound machines and how to power, control and code them while building moving LEGO models powered by motors and battery packs. This is great for learning new mechanical concepts, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills!
Grade (4,5,6) Students will learn robot navigation, mechanics and how robots react to the environment.
Game Development (Grade 3-9)
Minecraft Adventure - Using Minecraft Education students to plan, design, and build games. Within the Minecraft environment, students understand fundamental concepts like variables, conditional statements, and loops, laying the groundwork for future programming.
Scratch Coding - Students will create interactive stories, games, and animations.
Roblox - Students use the text-based programming language, Lua, to code games and learn programming concepts like scripts, variables, conditional statements, and functions
