Step into the spotlight and discover the power of your voice, your story, and your imagination. Ready, Set, Action is an 8–10 session acting course designed for youth ages 10–13, combining techniques from film and theatre to build confidence, spark creativity, and develop practical performance skills.
This program is especially designed to support kids who may face social challenges, offering a fun, inclusive environment where every participant is seen, heard, and valued. Aswell as those who may just have a particular interest in the art form! Through scene work, improvisation, character creation, and ensemble activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of acting as both an expressive art and a collaborative craft, leading them to gain skills and knowledge that can serve them in any avenue of life.
Equipment needed: water bottle, shoes (No socks please)

Mandy Trapp is a global meditation and mindfulness expert specializing in stress management and spiritual development. She is the founder of the Lifestyle Meditation Academy and has certified over 3,000 meditation and mindfulness teachers around the world. Her teachings are rooted in spiritual psychology, neuroscience, and energetic insights.
She is the creator of The Practice™, a membership program with the focus on supporting the mental and spiritual health of others through interactive learning and powerful practices such as meditation and breathwork.
Mandy is known for her grounded, practical, and accessible approach to meditation and spirituality which has allowed tens of thousands around the world to confidently move through the stresses and limitations of life and towards more peace and fulfillment.

Yomosa is the perfect start to your Saturday morning as you will refresh, revitalize, and set the intentions for the week. This yoga class is intended for all experience levels and body types, even first-timers. your registration includes a 60 min Slow Flow Yoga class followed by one refreshing mimosa.

With all the necessary supplies provided, including canvases, paints, brushes, and even cupcakes for a sweet treat, young artists will have everything they need to unleash their creativity. In this hands-on experience, children will learn various painting techniques and explore different color combinations to express their artistic visions. From blending hues to mastering brush strokes, they will discover the joy of self-expression through art. As creativity knows no bounds, it's important to be prepared for a little mess along the way. We encourage participants to wear painting clothes to fully immerse themselves in the experience without worrying about spills or splatters. Join us for an unforgettable journey of imagination and creation, where every child can proudly showcase their own masterpiece at the end of the session.

Instructor: Marcus
Marcus Fung is a Chinese-born Canadian musician, educator, and facilitator based in Edmonton (Treaty 6 Territory, Amiskwaciy Waskahikan). A classically trained pianist, he holds diplomas in Jazz Piano Performance and Music Composition from Grant MacEwan College.
Marcus serves the greater Edmonton area as a drum circle facilitator, expressive arts advocate, and sound therapy practitioner. With over 20 years of meditation and psychosomatic exploration, he weaves music, sound, and vibration into yoga classes, breathwork, and ceremonies, focusing on their effects on the nervous system and consciousness.
He has trained in Expressive Arts Therapy, graduated from the 8th Fire School of Shamanism, and completed practitioner training in Ancestral Lineage Repair. Marcus continues to grow his practice as a regenerative culture artist, building community through the healing arts.
